We attended Crufts and had a lovely day could have done with having the whole weekend there really. We are pleased Daisy got reserve in special Junior bitch, she was are only entry as Allie is a bit old and doesn’t get shown much and the others were either not born or to young to qualify last year.
Attended Bath took bambi camper and tent, tent got ripped in a high gust of wind “Bugger”. show ground imaculate grass like carpet and walkway did out with special pathway boarding, well done Bath (no more tenting)
Bought a caravan and awning and all the bits one needs to do this towing thing reasonably safely and proceded to Border Union Scotland amazingly light evenings, Iron brew and more than a little amber nectar saw Edinburgh castle & firth and fourth bridge.
Went to Blackpool weather absolutely boiling got a burnt back at the ring side, lovely beeches for the dogs to run on, did not think the tower that impressive weather held out until about an hour before end of show when the heavens opened to a monsoon type rain.
Windsor one of my favorite show locations again fantastic weather BBQ’s and walks, one set back dry ground with cracks that exuded hundred of ants all making a B line for the sweet foods in our caravan by the time we left Windsor I was obsessed with squashing ants using all sorts of profanities.
Arrived at Leeds just in the middle of putting up awning came a humungus thunder storm we held onto the inside of awning for grim death, thank the Lord we escaped without hang gliding over Harewood house and finally got awning sorted without a single tear, we heard others were not so lucky. Met some new really nice people. we had free admission to the house I found it more interesting than most stately homes Princess Mary sounded a very caring lady and looked so much like our queen today. really nice how the rubbish was collected each day from outside our caravan’s pity more show dont do the same.
Here we are at Bournemouth in the heart of The New Forrest lovely shaded areas for the dogs to walk out of the very hot weather, the wild deer were beautiful and the squirrels amusing for the dogs we had some family members come round and we went Lymington harbour to have a fish supper yummy.
And one last thing, The United Nations say that the Cornish language is "extinct" this is just to say they are wrong. My Affix “Kevranna” is Cornish for “To Share”
